Synthetic Mica / Sericite
 
Synthetic Mica/Sericite is synthetic fluorphlogopite (KM3AlSi3O10F2) developed by using unique synthesis method based on the inner heat melting process from strictly controlled raw materials. It is applied to make-ups such as foundation, lipstick and eye shadow because of excellent properties.
High degree of lubricity ------------ The facts that the distribution of the synthetic fluorphologopite’s particle size is strictly controlled in a specified range and that particles have smooth surfaces provide finished products with high degree of lubricity.
Extremely little content of heavy metal ------------ Compared with natural phlogopite, the sythetic fluorphlogopite contains extremely little amounts of hazardous elements such as arsenic, lead and so on.Better press formability ------------ As the particle size of the synthetic fluorphlogopite is strictly controlled to be regular, the pressed powder products show better press formability and shock resistance.
Excellent adhesiveness ------------ The foundation and eye shadow made from the synthetic fluorphlogopite show excellent adhesiveness to the skin and spread very well thanks to its plate shaped particles.
Long lasting effect ------------ Comparted with natural phlogopite, the synthetic fluorphlogopite contains much smaller impurities like Fe or Mn. So the synthetic fluorphlogopite does not deteriorate the color of cosmetics even in high moisture with sebum or oily substances.
